Heritage Square Museum
November 17 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm$8
On e have a tour at Heritage Square, a living museum where authentic Victorian houses, a train depot and drug store from L.A.’s past have all been preserved and restored. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about our city’s history, which can in turn share with our guests. What a great way to experience Los Angeles!
Heritage Square was also a filming location for the movies Legally Blonde and Saving Mr. Banks. Read all about the location and its amazing story in this CurbedLA feature.
Heritage Square Museum transports visitors to the end of the 19th century, when California was a fledgling state and the former cow town El Pueblo de Los Angeles began shaping itself into the metropolis it is today. Tours take visitors on an exploration of Southern California history, architecture and culture as interpreted through our historic structures. At the Perry Gallery, thought-provoking and amusing exhibits can be seen year-round. In addition, Heritage Square Museum comes to life throughout the year for special living history events with museum interpreters in full period clothing. There is always something happening at the museum, that is why we like to say that Heritage Square Museum is “Where History Comes Alive!”
